YUM!
After breakfast Linds and I headed downtown to 45th and Madison, where we joined the hordes waiting for the Parade to start.
Every year Fordham marches in the St. Patty's day Parade! All current students and alumni are welcome to march with Father McShane and this year a group of friends and I decided to go for it! Why not pretend to be famous and march right up 5th Ave, in front of thousands of people?

We were all given Fordham maroon sashes, which we got to keep. Unfortunately, the Parade was delayed and we spent over 2 hours waiting on 44th Street to start our 2 mile walk. We had a great time once we started moving though!

It was like summer out last Saturday!
The actual march only took about 45 minutes, but it was a blast! There were a surprising amount of Fordham fans in the audience and was great to get cheers from them as we walked by. It was also just a beautiful day to be out taking a walk, especially on 5th.
Happy St. Patty's day from NYC!
